Buttery Tea Biscuits

Tea Biscuits:
Ingredients
- 3 cups (spooned and leveled) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut in pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 whole egg, plus 3 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Oven @ 350º
- Place flour, sugar, butter, and salt in the bowl of a food processor; process until mixture is the texture of coarse meal.
- In a small bowl, lightly beat egg and yolks with vanilla; with motor running, add to food processor. Process just until a dough forms.
- Place dough into cookie press fitted with the zigzag plate, or a pastry bag fitted with tip 789
- Pipe dough to desired length, and place cookies on sheet pan lined with parchment.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes (mine took 12 minutes, but may vary depending on your oven temperature).
- Let set for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.

And…cooking instructions? I have a bunch of egg yolks to use up so I do want to try this!
